My class and I have recently started reading the book Sabriel, even though I haven't finished it it yet, I can say that I am completely enamored by characters and the plot. When people usually start a book in their English class it never really is something interesting, so starting this book was a real breath of fresh air for me. Entering the story you can already tell that its not your average brave and fierce girl on a hunt to save the world, but a girl who shows her fear and doubt in her ability to save her father and destroy evil.
Coming from a line of necromancers Sabriel is on the hunt to find her father that everyone thinks is dead, and bring him back with the help of her servant companion Mogget who is pretty much the one that keeps her alive while they start their journey to the Old Kingdom. Even though I know Sabriel want's to bring her father Abhorsen back I feel like she is also doing this because she doesn't want the weight of these responsibilities that are thrown on her as well.
